Rejoice and Rest In his LOVE, MERCY and PERFECT PEACE. My Name Is Richard Allen Brock Jr, Friends call me Ritchie! Ever since I was little I’ve always been able to see, hear and sense things beyond the normal 5 senses. Growing up not knowing what this was, was…..Difficult to say the least. I was told I was Crazy, a Freak or even Demon Possessed simply because I could do something most others can not. Living in a small town word travels like wildfire and when your labeled “The Freaky Kid who sees Dead People” you tend to stand out a bit. Early School years were ok, I didnt talk about my abilities and that kept me out of the spotlight and made me pretty popular I must say. Then, Around 8th Grade things began to take a turn for the worst. Somehow, Someway, One of my friends had “Let Slip” about my Gifts and the next thing I knew I was the talk of the county. I remember the rest of my school years as a dark haze full of teasing and torment and bullying beyond anything you can imagine over something I was just as confused about as they were. For years I struggled with it, Was I really Crazy? Or was something else at play it wasnt until my Senior Year that I really Found the Answers I was Looking for. In a small town Like Hamlin, The Churches around here seem stuck in a time warp. Where on TV and In Modern Churches you were taught How to have a relationship with God and to Live in his Presence but at the churches around here, You were taught to Fear God and it made him seem like some vengeful Tyrant when in reality he is the very Source of Love. Now even from a young age ive always been close with God to an extent. While the other kids were out drinking and partying and all That I stayed away from it, something inside me told me I was made for more than this. A Couple years Later I met my Friend Zach who really taught me about the heart of God and About Jesus and Who He is and what he done for me and how it effects my life and I was blown away by this. He went on to talk about Gifts of the Spirit and began describing the very things ive been dealing with my entire life! Its funny, So many years searching and the answer was right there under my nose all along. I Learned about the Gift of Discernment of spirits and about all these things I was going for and slowly, One by One all the pieces began to fall into place and for the First time in my life thanks to Jesus, I finally found purpose and meaning in Life =) Today Im a Strong Christian and am In Love and On Fire with God and my Abilities have become part of my everyday life and Walk with God and have really came in handy with Ministering to people and Counseling On a Spiritual Level. I thank God so much for who he has made and called me to be, Without Him I am Nothing but with him all things are possible =) I Love You Jesus! Ritchie Brock
